I am an Attorney at Law practicing at the Bar of Trinidad and
Tobago. I obtained my Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree after completing a 3 year
course with the University of London. At the Hugh Wooding Law School in
Trinidad and Tobago. I wrote the Bar exams and obtained the Council of Legal
Education's prize for the Most Outstanding Year 1 Student and the Book
Specialists Prize for the First Outstanding Year 1 Student.
During my course of study at the Law School I undertook my internship with
Victoria Chambers and assisted in one of the major cases in the legal
history of Trinidad and Tobago.
I was called to Bar in Trinidad and Tobago in October, 1997 and admitted to
the Bar in the Republic of Guyana in February, 1998. I am a member of the
Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago. I am also enrolled in the roll of
Attorneys at the Legal Aid and Advisory Authority, a government-funded
organisation, to ensure that legal assistance is available to all citizens of
Trinidad and Tobago, including the less fortunate.
I currently conduct my practice at the well-renowned, prestigious law offices
of Trinity Chambers in Port of Spain, the nation's capital city, together with 9
other Attorneys noted for their experience and wide knowledge in their fields of
practice.
I have wide knowledge and experience in the civil law arena especially in the
area of family law and I have been featured in the Trinidad Express newspaper on
the topic of Women's Rights and Domestic Violence in Trinidad and Tobago.
My client base consists of local and foreign individuals and companies all of
whom are the recipients of well-researched timeous work. I value the
importance of satisfying my client so that client care is always of paramount
importance to me.
